Kevin and his team did a high-quality job with consistent communications and involvement from us in ongoing decisions. Tim and Doug were meticulous with expertise in the multiple areas of our project involved in renovating a suite in our basement.
You know you hired the right company when the project is completed and looks like it was always there. I couldn’t be happier with my fireplace. Tim and Doug’s workmanship was impeccable. They went above and beyond. I highly recommend this company. Everything from first meeting with Kevin for the estimate to last day on the job for Tim and Doug was perfect. It was nice to have a company do what they say they are going to do show up when they say they are going to show up and everything in between to make sure that we were happy. This will be the only company we use on any other project. No need to shop around we definitely found the right company.
Our bathroom remodeling with Taylor Made Custom Contracting went very smoothly. They were very organized, professional and respectful of the space they were working in. One of the reasons I selected Taylor Made Custom Contracting was because of their warranty on their work. Two years after the completion of my bathroom, a drawer was not opening properly. Within two days, Doug was at my house to fix the drawer. Not only did he fix the drawer, but he spent a full day fixing nail pops from the settling of the initial job, and painting it to make the bathroom great again!
I contacted Taylor Made Custom Contracting Inc after an extremely bad storm which damaged the siding on my house. Kevin and Suzanne responded immediately to my request to have someone inspect my house and perform the repairs as soon as possible. At first I was very stressed out since my family and I were away on vacation and did not know the extent of the repairs required. The next day the repairs were completed (less than 24 hours) and I came home to find everything in tact ! I have used Taylor Made Custom Contracting Inc in the past for a kitchen remodeling and would highly recommend them for any home improvements, repairs or upgrades! I would give them a 10 if the rating would go that high.
We had major redesign and renovation work done by TMCC in early 2015, including two complete bathrooms. We love everything they did and have been enjoying the results ever since. Recently we had two minor problems, one of which I caused myself when trying to change a burned out recessed light bulb in the shower ceiling. I emailed Kevin for a recommendation on who to call for help, and got a very prompt response that he would send someone out to take care of it. That man came in less than two days and resolved both problems very effectively and to our great satisfaction. Furthermore, we weren’t even charged; bothKevin and his colleague said “We stand behind our work.” Considering the original work was done nearly 8 years ago and I caused one of the problems myself, this was great service and way beyond expectations. It just further confirmed that our original decision to hire TMCC was the right choice. We highly recommend them.
Service was excellent, detailed, and professional. While we were out of town, they sent us videos of the progress, and the overall communication was great, very responsive. They even watered our plants and moved some furniture back without us asking. They asked for our feedback before making a decision on the trim, and the carpenters were always pleasant, friendly, and honest. The final bill was exactly as quoted plus an approved increase to handle some unexpected rot they showed us. Work included Andersen windows, slider, exterior water proofing, some carpentry, drywall and interior/exterior trim. Highly recommend for any remodeling or other custom work!
Over three years ago I fortunate to find Taylor Made Custom Contracting to work with on the remodel of my newly purchased 1959 house in Bel Air. Kevin was a joy to work with and totally got the remodel I was trying to do, which was easier said than done. Some of the features I wanted were nontraditional to say the least, and on top of that I had not actually moved into the house yet. Kevin had the additional pressure of working with me long distance! With all of that on the table, the construction job could not have gone more smoothly, thanks to Kevin’s flexibility and the skills of the crew, and lots of texts, emails, calls, and photo tours. I did manage to make a couple of trips to visit while the house was under construction, so I was able to see the process from the framework up to the finish. The first thing I noticed was the complete care that the team took with each phase of the remodel, and the beauty of the finished product. In the end, the finished remodel far exceeded my original vision and three years later I am still in love with my new home. I was so satisfied that I have called on Kevin several times, since the original remodel, for other projects. Last year, Kevin and his team completed a beautiful backyard porch for us, that we still ask ourselves how we did without. Bottom line, I would highly recommend Taylor Made, Kevin, and his entire team. A pleasure to work with and a well made, beautiful finish to any work you may want done in your home or build. Outstanding! Great experience! Taylor Made has completed two projects for us: an addition to our brick colonial — it blends in perfectly with the main house and provides an awesome office and pantry for us. We liked their work, crew and design suggestions so much we went right into a major kitchen remodel with them, which was quite a project given our house was built in 1959 with not-so-modern construction techniques (to put it nicely)… TMCC blended the old with the new, fixing things as we found them, hiding beams in the ceiling so we could take down load-bearing walls… all while minimizing the impact to our family. Remodeling, and living through the construction is never easy, but just extremely pleased with TMCC.
I don’t even know where to begin! Alan from Taylor Made did EXCELLENT JOB on the renovation of my new home! Everything had to be customized for my special needs son. An they did everything that I ask for if not more! Kevin, Alan, and I cannot forget about Paula You’re the Best!!! Thank you for the wonderful work you’ll have done!!!
We are over the top happy with our new room. Kevin, Craig and Doug made the construction experience fun! Converting an attached garage to a family room and making it blend in with the rest of the house, it looks like it has always been here and not a afterthought. The craftsmanship and professionalism was top notch. We had specific needs for the room and they designed it to achieve those needs. Even the shelving in the closets is custom designed to what we are going to put in them, so I am showing them off to everyone too! We couldn’t be happier with the results.

Taylor Made is responsive, professional and masterful at what they do. We have used them for a major addition, kitchen remodel and some structural repairs. It’s nice to have a contractor that you can count on to be honest and timely for jobs big and small.
Had a roof replaced and couldn’t have asked for any better service! Roof was done quickly and looked great. Even did a post repair inspection to make sure it was done perfect! Perfection at its best.
