Seeking a more open and cohesive design for their main floor, the homeowners decided to reconfigure the entrance from the garage, creating an updated laundry area and hallway to improve the flow into the main living space. This redesign paved the way for an extraordinary kitchen remodel.

A major element of the transformation involved the careful removal of a 30-foot, two-story brick fireplace that previously dominated the center of the home. In its place, a bright and inviting atmosphere emerged, anchored by a stunning three-paneled window that replaced the smaller original kitchen window, allowing natural light to flood the space.

The kitchen now boasts elegant white and gray-toned cabinets, with glass-fronted uppers to enhance the airy feel. A spacious island, topped with white quartz, comfortably seats six and serves as the centerpiece of the room. Complementary gray plank flooring was paired with plush gray carpet to subtly define the adjacent spaces.

State-of-the-art appliances from the GE Monogram line, including a striking six-burner gas range, elevate the kitchen’s functionality and style. Finishing touches like large iron pendant lights, a gray-blue tile backsplash, and ash-gray cabinet pulls add sophistication to the design.

The reimagined laundry area now features sleek cabinetry with a quartz waterfall countertop, combining practicality with refined aesthetics.

This home now effortlessly accommodates extended family gatherings or intimate evenings, with abundant natural light and an open layout designed for both comfort and elegance.
