Looking for a way to express yourself with your home remodel? Mosaic tile could be the answer.

When you think of mosaic tile, often colorful patterns and interesting designs come to mind. Because they provide an opportunity to think outside the box, backsplashes and accent walls are popular applications.

Although often seen in 1-inch by 1-inch squares, mosaics are certainly available in many shapes and patterns. Our recent remodeled bathroom in Bel Air Maryland above shows floor to ceiling green glass mosaic in a Moroccan style pattern.

In combination with black chalkboard paint, our client designed this interesting layout an extensive amount of planning and expertise.

They can also be utilized in non-traditional places. Instead of wood, our client chose mosaic tiles to accentuate the baseboards in both their Baldwin Maryland master and hall bathrooms.

When using mosaics in multiple areas of the bathroom, design consistency can be retained making for a truly custom remodel.

In order to keep the traditional styling and coordinate with a custom-made antique vanity, black and white mosaics were chosen for the floor and shower accent stripe in this Harford County home.

Mosaic tile can provide a custom look in almost any room within your home. To see more photos from these remodels, view our portfolio here.
