Design Services

Design/ Build Service
Taylor Made has been offering design /build services since 1995. By using computer software, we can show you a floor plan or 3-D version of your proposed project. Because all of our addition, bathroom, kitchen and basement designs are constructed with a realistic price in mind, our customers often stay within their budget.

Universal Design
As Certified Aging in Place Specialists, we specialize in finding creative and functional home solutions for our aging and disabled customers.

Architectural Plans
If full construction plans are needed for a special permit or any other reason, we can accommodate that need.

Structural Engineers
If a customer's home has existing structural problems or a new project has structural issues, we have engineers who can certify plans or provide professional advice.

Interior Designer
We can match you with our interior designer who can help you with color choices, wall and window treatments, furniture and many other design services.

Artist
If you are looking for something unique such as a wall or canvas mural, we have artists who can provide you with that specialized service.

Additions

Many homeowners find themselves in need of more living space. With a growing family or aging parent at home, an addition is often the answer. Because additions raise the value of your home, they are often solid investments.

Most of our additions consist of a 3-D design, foundation, framing, windows, exterior doors, roofing, siding, brick, stone, gutters, heating, plumbing, electrical, insulation, drywall, interior doors, trim, painting, flooring and landscaping. We occasionally have customers who are interested in only a portion of the many services offered. If that's you, we will work together to achieve your goals.

Kitchens

If so, it can now be both luxurious and functional. Taylor Made can help you design and construct a new kitchen plan. By utilizing our design/ build service, our customers can choose materials, colors and layout before construction starts. You can see an actual floor plan or a 3-D version of your future kitchen from many perspectives.

We offer complete kitchen remodeling packages including cabinets, countertops, appliances, lighting, plumbing, electrical, flooring, painting and interior design services.

Our customers feel comfortable knowing we have extensive installation experience using the latest products such as solid surface countertops, stainless steel commercial appliances, trash compactors, under cabinet lighting, and elaborate moldings.

Bathrooms

Are you considering upgrading your existing bathroom into a larger or more luxurious one?

High end bathrooms have become very desirable. As our lives become more stressful, people want a peaceful area where they can relax. Bathrooms also have excellent resale value.

Products such as whirlpool tubs, dual sinks, solid surface countertops, custom tile and compartmentalized commode areas have become very popular through the years. We can install such luxury items as televisions, telephones, heated towel bars, radiant floor heating and glass block showers with dual shower heads. At Taylor Made Custom Contracting, we have extensive experience with these unique products and special installation procedures.

Basements

Do you need a place for your kids to play? Do you want a bar area for entertaining? Are you considering an additional bedroom?

A finished basement may be the solution because you can get the additional space you need without the expense or timetable of a home addition. Because our design service can provide a computer generated layout before construction starts, your basement expenses can stay within your budget.

We use our construction expertise during every phase of a project which includes framing, electric, plumbing, insulation, drywall, paint, ceiling and flooring. We also can provide specialty items such as built in cabinetry, custom bars, arched doorways, custom designed flooring, French doors, kitchen areas, bedrooms and bathrooms.

Roofing

Is your roof leaking or does it need replacing? Your roof may not be the most exciting part of your home, but it's still very important.

Making a wrong decision regarding your roof can be detrimental to your home. We find that most homeowners want a roof that will withstand extreme weather conditions, while matching the home's existing decor.

Although qualified to install any brand of roofing, we at Taylor Made, have been an "Owens Corning Preferred Contractor" since 2001. We are very familiar with their product line and can offer a longer manufacturer warranty.

Siding

Are you ready to add or update your existing siding?

Siding provides a virtually maintenance free, durable and cost effective way of covering your home's exterior. There are hundreds of color and style choices. Although we can install any brand of siding, we have been an "Authorized Certainteed Vinyl Siding Master Carpenter," since 2001. Having this title, assures our knowledge of Certainteed's products and installation procedures.

Patios & Decks

With so many material options available today, a deck or patio can create a new look for your home. Patios can be constructed of stamped concrete, brick, stone or slate. Now you can even pick the pattern and colors.

At Taylor Made Custom Contracting, we are very familiar with the new decking products. We have extensive experience with maintenance free products such as vinyl, composites, teak and cast iron.

Windows & Doors

If you're like most homeowners, you're interested in saving money and energy. Having doors and windows that are fitted properly can save you thousands of dollars in fuel costs.

Most vinyl and fiberglass windows that contain Low-E insulated glass meet the Energy Star guidelines. There are also many window shape options in which to choose. Awing, bay, bow, casement, double hung, single hung, garden and sliding are just a few.

French, hinged patio, sliding patio, entry and storm are just a few of the door options available.

Painting

You can use one of our interior designers or mural artists to help you make your decorating decisions.

But of course, as remodelers, we can paint any surface with any color to your satisfaction.

Commercial Construction

Although most people may know Taylor Made Custom Contracting as a residential remodeling company, we have many years of experience in the light commercial field. We built completely new sound studios and sales offices for WWMX 106.5, WLIF 101.9 and WQSR 102.7 radio stations. We have remodeled entire offices for financial planners and dentists, built light boxes and custom countertops for retail stores and governmental agencies.
